Is Fisherman's Paradise open to the public?
Fisherman's Paradise is a Member based organization. You will need to become a Member of Fishernman's Paradise prior to booking trips or boarding the vessel.

Can I stop by if I'm out near Fisherman's?
Member will be allowed to board Fisherman's Paradise with prior reservations. You are certainly welcome to bring your own boat at your convenience. Members that do come out in their own boats will have to register with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol prior to returning to U.S. waters.

How do I become a Member?
Membership forms can be downloaded from our FULL website or, we can email the forms to you if you request information from the Contact Us portion of this website. Membership fees for 2012 have been waived! Memberhips are annual and run from January 1 to December 31.

How do I book a trip?
Once you are a Member of Fisherman's Paradise, you are free to book nights or packages on Fisherman's Paradise. Bookings are done on a first-come, first-served basis and secured with a 50% deposit. Special considerations are given to groups of 4 or more.

Do I need a passport?
YES! You are leaving the U.S. You are required by U.S. Customs & Border Patrol to provide us with a copy of your passport during the application process as well as bring your passport with you during your stay. If you do not have a passport, we will need a copy of a State/Federal photo ID (driver’s license) AND proof of citizenship (birth certificate).

How much are fishing charters?
Fishing charter pricing varies greatly on where you fish and what you are fishing for. Half-day charters typically run from $600 to $800 and Full-day charters are from $1,200 to $1,400 per group of 6 or less. Middle Grounds charters range around $2,200.

Where will you be located during 2012/2013?
We will be located either 15 miles NW of Clearwater, FL or 15 due West of St. Pete Beach, FL. There are no final plans to move Fisherman's to the Caribbean at this time.

Is there fuel availble for purchase?
No, we do not have fuel for sale at this time.

Do you have boats available for lease?
We do not have boats available for lease to our Members at this time. We can arrange for fishing and dive charters with local licensed captains as needed.

How do I get to Fisherman's Paradise?
You can either travel to Fisherman's Paradise by your own boat, by one of our shuttle boats, or by coming out with a Charter Captain or Dive Master. There is a nominal fuel surcharge for the use of our shuttle boat, charged per person. The helicopter will not be available for the 2012 season.

Can Fisherman's Paradise host a large group, corporate event, or wedding?
Absolutely! Fisherman’s is a great location for a corporate retreat as well as group/team building. We also have the most beautiful sunsets in the state, which make for a great backdrop to a romantic wedding. We can reserve a portion of the ship or the entire ship for your event based on your needs. Please contact us directly for more information and pricing.

Can I fish off the side of Fisherman's Paradise?
NO. Our vessel does not hold the necessary Ferderal permits to allow fishing directly off the side.

Do you have fishing tackle and bait available?
Fishing tackle will be provided by the individual Charter Captains. However, if you have a favorite rod or reel, you are certinaly welcome to bring it along! Live bait and frozen batil will be provided by the Charter Captains on the individual charter based on what you're fishing for and how many people are on the boat at that time.

Are there accommodations for Charter Captains or Dive Masters?
Yes, special accommodations are available for Charter Captains and Dive Masters that are working with Members of Fisherman's Paradise. Any interested Captains or Dive Masters should inquire to us directly for more details.

Do you offer spear-fishing or dive charters?
We will not be offering spear fishing trips ourselves, but we are working with local Dive Masters, dive clubs and individual groups that will be using our lodging accommodations. Soon, we will have a list of Dive Masters and Charter Captains published on our website that a Member can contact directly. These Captains operate ndependent of us.

Is smoking allowed?
Due to risk of fire at sea, smoking will only be allowed in the designated outside patios at the rear of the vessel. There is no smoking allowed inside the rooms or anywhere inside the vessel and consequently, the smoke/fire alert system is extremely sensitive.
